Results of a 6.8 year, 13,000 scans experience with Weight-Bearing CT have been published online on 9 June. The study was conducted by International WBCT Society Board members Martinus Richter, Alexej Barg, Arne Burssens, Scott Ellis, Cesar de Cesar Netto and François Lintz.

The purpose of this study was to assess the benefit of using Weight-Bearing CT (WBCT) instead of radiographs (R) and/or CT in a foot and ankle center regarding time spent for image acquisition, radiation dose, and cost effectiveness.
